ELCA Lutheran congregation provides Queer Camp for youth and a clothes closet for gender transition3/27/2022

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, a congregation of the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has started a camp ministry to help youth affirm their queerness. The congregation has also opened a clothes closet to help people transition from one gender to the next. I can’t help but think of Jesus’ words about “a millstone around the neck” for those who lead youth astray (Matthew 18:6). A bisexual Lutheran woman pastor marches topless at a gay pride parade...that is just one example of the false teachings that have invaded the ELCA Lutheran Church, the Episcopal Church, the United Church of Christ, the Disciples of Christ, the United Methodists, the Reformed Church in America and the PCUSA Presbyterians. The below video gives the most recent, tragic examples of how low the mainline churches have sunk. If you know someone who is still in one of these denominations, please pass this on to them. And please pray that many will leave unbiblical denominations and join churches which follow the Bible. In the post below she promotes the “new sexuality” of the ELCA and other liberal denominations. It is tragic that such is the moral leadership of a denomination that is named after Martin Luther who believed in the authority of scripture. “Nothing can separate” in her post below is from the Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 8 and was written to believing Christians, not to everyone. The same Apostle Paul wrote that living in impenitent sin does indeed separate people from God—for eternity (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). In Jesus our Savior, Pastor Tom Brock Rev. Emily Scott is the pastor at Dreams and Visions. (see here) it is a newer church plant of the ELCA's Delaware-Maryland Synod. (Rev. Scott once speak at an ELCA National Youth Gathering.) The church website says "Worship is Queering and spirit-led, invites truth-telling and gratitude, and moves us toward God’s dream of justice." (See the second picture below) Elsewhere on the church homepage it says "we seek to be a place where..." "False binaries are left behind" and 'Queerness is holy." See below. On the church "about" page they write: "The ELCA is a denomination that supports the lives and ministries of LGBTQ people and, does incredible work with refugees and immigrants. The local expression of our denomination called the Delaware-Maryland Synod. Bishop Bill Gohl, Dr. Amsalu Geleta, and the Synod Council have all worked together so that Dreams and Visions might come into being" Money going to the ELCA is helping pay for this kind of church and teaching. The below is written by a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as her "personal response to countless anti-choice laws at the state level". How can pastors who believe in the Bible, Psalm 119 and 'Thou shalt not kill' support abortion? They can't. But below you will see a pastor try to defend abortion with statements like: "I have reason to believe the Kingdom of God is like a woman who knows herself, who believes she is worth more than what the Empires of this world decide about her body". Sadly, the below article, radical as it is, is not radical in the ELCA. The ELCA pays for abortion for any reason in the denomination's healthcare plan, which is funded by offering dollars. And recently ELCA head bishop Elizabeth Eaton, also in response to states' attempts to restrict abortion, issued a letter reminding people that the ELCA believes in abortion access. How the Lord of Life must grieve that the ELCA, the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal Church in America and the Presbyterian Church USA all support laws that enable 3000 babies to be killed in America daily.
