Showing no concern over the claims of mass voter fraud which, if true, would completely undermine our country and our freedom, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has joined with other radical progressive "Christian" organizations saying "We invite all people of faith to recognize the outcome...the outcome of this election. Joe Biden has been announced as the President-elect. Attempts to delay the peaceful transition of leadership risk endangering our democracy in critical ways." (See video below)
Would the ELCA, under the same circumstance, delivered this same message if Pres. Trump had won? If allegations are true, the election was rigged and a usurper and his party have illegally taken control of the United States. The claims needs to be taken seriously and adjudicated. But the radical leftists who control the ELCA, from their pastors, to synod leaders, to ELCA churchwide leadership, and all the entities under their banner, want to ignore it all and want us to honor "the outcome of the election." Throughout a contentious and divisive political battle, communities and congregations and families have struggled to maintain respect and love for each other. Perhaps you've heard about Nadia Bolz–Weber, the popular pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She is the one who gave abortion rights activist Gloria Steinem a statue of a vagina to thank Steinem for her life's work. She was also the speaker at the ELCA's teen assembly who led 31,000 ELCA teenagers to repeat after her "I renounce the lie that queerness is anything other than beauty." Bolz-Weber also denies that Jesus died in our place for our sins, claiming that would be divine child abuse on the part of God the Father. And now she has a meditation doing what has become typical in feminist circles of the ELCA, "expanding" the language for God. Bolz-weber writes: "Our Father, Our Mother, Our Holy Parent, The Source of All Being from whom we came and to whom we return, You who knows us better than we know ourselves. Jesus called you Abba and so shall we, even as we may have an ambiguous relationship with parenthood - Be to us our Holy Parent, the one who loves without condition." (See here) Jesus taught us to pray to "Our Father", never once did He say to pray to "Our Mother." It is arrogant to think that we have the right to "expand" upon the language Jesus gave us for God, as if we know better than the Son of God. The ELCA's hymnal has also revamped God language. It contains a hymn entitled "Mothering God, you gave me birth". The ELCA hymnal has also de-sexed all the Psalms to get rid of masculine pronouns for God. Such rewriting of Scripture and the ELCA's "expanding" beyond the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is one more reason people should leave the ELCA and join a more biblical denomination. Carthage College, located in Kenosha, WI., is a school of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), which is very liberal mainline denomination. Read the following and ask yourself if you want Carthage College educating and disciplining your child. Carthage College: Homosexuality - Carthage College has a LGBT group. “The LGBT Student Association is a student-run group that is focused on educational events, social gatherings, and advocacy surrounding LGBTQIA+ issues.” (See here) - Carthage College has “SafeZones” for LGBTQ people. (See here) As you can see below, ELCA campus pastor is a LGBTQ SafeZone representative. (See here)  - A showing of Moonlight, a film about a homosexual man, took place at Carthage College and was sponsored by Carthage Activities Board, Advocates for Social Change, Black Student Union, and LGBT-SA. (See here) - A Coffee and Conversation gathering about the homosexual based National Coming Out Day was held at Carthage College and hosted by Multicultural Affairs. (See here) - No Hate Week took place at Carthage College. Events included an LGBT speaker, a LGBTQ and Ally Student Panel, “the acknowledgment of the rainbow-painted Kissing Rock…(and) the day of silence, where participators will remain silent to acknowledge the many silenced voices of those who have fought for equality and those who cannot speak up for themselves.” (See here) - A recipient of the Lambda Pioneer Award for contributions to the LGBT literary community spoke at Carthage College. Other Religions - Carthage College has both a Muslim Student Association and a Pagan Forum which you can see listed here. - In 2016 we see that there was an Annual Hijab Day observed at Carthage College where students were encouraged to wear red scarfs over their head. (See here) - Carthage College writes, “You may be thinking, ‘Wait a minute, this is a college rooted in the Lutheran tradition, right? Why would you encourage other faith traditions?’ We do this because we are a college rooted in the Lutheran tradition. Lutherans believe we are saved by grace through faith, and that this grace gives us the freedom we need to love and serve the world — the whole world, not just the Lutheran world.”  - Interfaith leader and Muslim, Eboo Patel spoke at Carthage College. (See here) - A Celebration of Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, took place at Carthage College. (See here and here) - James Lochtefeld, Chair and Religion Department Professor of Religion and Asian Studies “specializes in Hindu pilgrimage.” (See here) Drag Show - In 2018, the second annual Heels For Hope Drag Show was held at Carthage College. (See here) Inclusive Language - Carthage College has a “Glossary of Working Language for Conversation” page. On this page we learn: “Carthage College believes that we are to nurture an enlightened and inclusive college community that inspires meaningful contributions towards a better world. It is to that end we promote a working language that frames our understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion within the context of deepening equity and access, institutional receptivity, diversity in the curriculum, and student/adult learning development to promote equitable student outcomes.” Carthage College then gives a set of words with definitions that frames "our understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion." Included are such words as Adultism, Allyship, Cis, Cisgenderism, Gender identity, Gender neutral pronoun, Heteronormativity, Homophobia, Intersectionality, LGBTTQQIA, Marginalize, Microaggression, Queer, Questioning, Safe space, White guilt, White privilege, Whiteness, Xenophobia, etc. (See here) Politics/Anti-Trump - Carthage College professor Mimi Yang writes about Trump, the boarder wall and bigotry. Anti Christian Zionist Speaker - Controversial speaker, Bishop Dr. Munib Younan, Bishop Emeritus of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, spoke last year at Carthage College. Below is a video by a bishop of the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on the eve of the election. It is a strange prayer, saying “we pray for those who want the false peace of letting things be as they have been to join in the dance of the Spirit where new things are possible...your word...dances forever...” “Radical welcome” has become a buzz phrase for acceptance of the LGBT agenda and the bishop prays for “Christ’s radical love, radical welcome, radical blessing, radical forgiveness, radical peace, radical grace and radical wholeness to all.” What America needs is radical repentance from sin, including the sins of abortion and homosexuality. But the ELCA pays for abortion for any reason in its healthcare which is paid for by offering dollars, and the ELCA ordains practicing homosexual and transgender pastors. So don’t expect an ELCA bishop to preach on America’s need for radical repentance of these sins because, sadly, many ELCA leaders do not believe these are sins at all. I am on a Facebook page with present and former pastors and seminarians of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. I left that denomination years ago because it pays for abortion for any reason in its healthcare plan for pastors and their families, and the healthcare plan is paid for with offering dollars. I shared on the Facebook page that years ago I received a letter from an ELCA person, I believe a pastor’s wife, who was so glad the ELCA “was there” to pay for her 16-year-old daughter’s abortion. I said “Your offering dollars at work.” An ELCA pastor from Iowa responded: "Tom... who makes you judge and jury over this little girl?? From what I gather of Jesus he tells us to "Judge not, lest we be judged.” Just saying... Instead of reacting with condemnation over this 16 year old's abortion, why not react with compassion? Do you know what she was facing? Did you understand the circumstances of her life? Personally I am grateful for an insurance company who stays out of these kinds of decisions and fulfills their obligations, paying for the procedure. Its hard enough as it is. To compound that with the judgement of your insurance company would be even worse." My response to this pastor: It is tragic to me that a pastor thinks it is OK to destroy an unborn child with the offering dollars of the people of God. It is not “compassion” to affirm abortion, neither for the mother nor the child. If you are still in the ELCA, are you aware that your offering dollars can be used to pay for abortion, for any reason, in the ELCA healthcare plan? One more reason to take your money, time and talents and join a more Biblical denomination. You obviously don't. Nor would I imagine you would help this young woman or any raise their children. Stop judging and assuming YOU or anyone else knows the circumstances of their decision." My response: "You claim many pro-life people (and I) don't care about the woman at all. But it isn't the pro-choice people who run crisis pregnancy centers and help women before and after childbirth to care for the newborn. It is more accurate to say that pro-choice people don't care about the woman and child. They prefer the "quick and easy" solution of killing the unborn baby. Using offering dollars to kill unborn children is about as low as the ELCA has stooped--with the possible exception of putting an 11-year-old boy who thinks he is a girl on stage to promote transgenderism to 31,000 teenagers at last summer's ELCA Youth Assembly."
