Your ELCA Lutheran offering dollars at work: Funding the “Queer Enough” transgender “ministry”

Someone just wrote me that their small, dying—and probably closing this summer—congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in Oregon is bringing in a “mission” speaker who is a woman who presents herself as a man. The ELCA’s Oregon Synod produced the below video of this “ministry” which is funded by offering dollars. From the synod website: “The Oregon Synod and the ELCA invest in this ministry (Queer Enough) as a means of healing and repair to address the harm and damage the church has caused queer folks through homophobia, exclusion, lack of affirmation and celebration, and queer-phobic theology and practice.”

So if you believe that homosexual and transgender behavior are wrong and are unwilling to celebrate it, you are harming people with your antiquated, queer-phobic (and Biblical) beliefs.

Is this the best way to help a congregation which is about to close, by sending in a “mission speaker” who teaches a man can be a woman and a woman can be a man?

One more reason to flee—with your offering dollars—from the ELCA.

The ELCA is dangerously wrong on biblical and scientific grounds in its peddling of trendy transgenderism. Hopefully those who have been irreparably injured by following the siren song of ELCA impastors and bishops will sue the denomination into oblivion.

The ELCA synod will continue to graciously take your offering $ and keep pushing their agenda as long as they can. Too many members have no clue about what is going on, or they keep their head in the sand & don't want to hear anything different, or they say we just don't want to leave as it is not going to affect my congregation or we have been members for years so I can't turn my back on my church!

The ELCA, having doubled down in recent years on its apostasy in every possible way, it has gotten itself and every congregation in deeper spiritual trouble. Its final demise, which now appears to be little more than a generation in the future, will be a God-initiated corollary to the nearly three centuries it and its predecessor bodies have spent denying and denouncing basic Christian and Lutheran teachings.
Those who care about the inerrancy of Holy Scripture and the correctness of the Book of Concord but who for whatever reason are still loyal members of the ELCA in spite of all it has done to distance itself from Confessional Lutheranism in the past 35-plus years, and what the predecessor bodies did before it must understand that they need to leave this synodical version of the Titanic and find another Lutheran body which still preaches, teaches and confesses that only the Triune God offers salvation , the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the Book of Concord is absolutely correct in its interpretation of the Christian faith.

It hurts my heart to have loved ones still attending an elca group.
In their defense, their tiny group does not teach as the elca and they have their tithe down to almost nothing.
But, they are still counted in the numbers.
My indecision came to a stop when I felt the Lord said to me, "Do you want to please me or please Pastor__________". I resigned in less than 5 minutes!

Pastors like Pastor Allen Jackson nail it when they say God is moving in the world, but so is the devil. I am seeing it first hand. A man that I highly respected as a level-headed individual, but also a long time ELCA member has now given himself wholly over to the dark forces. I never thought I'd see this, but he fully supports Hamas and the college protestors that support them. It is extremely sad to see, even though he was an ELCA member, I never thought he would be duped by their evil platform. If this person can be won over by evil, surely just about anyone can. Leave the ELCA before it destroys you. Also, another person that seemed like a nice guy, but not a genius by any means revealed that he is now a New Ager and is now pushing that on anyone that will listen, including me. So as you see these dark forces moving in the world, know they are coming directly for you. Put on the full armor. I am working on my response to these people because I have failed to stand up for Christ in both instances. The devil wants us to feel bad about ourselves and disappointed when we don't fight back. I must work on this, Jesus expects a lot of me and all true Christ followers. Pray for me.
