A man dressed in drag preached the sermon at St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Logan Square in Chicago Sunday. This ELCA church sits in the shadow of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America headquarters, also in Chicago.
Seminarian Aaron Musser preached dressed as a woman and at one point in the service had children sitting at his feet.
To all ELCA pastors, ELCA members, and ELCA churches: You are participating in a denomination that mocks God, that destroys faith and defies God's Word. Standing before God, you will have to give account for remaining in this heretical, false teaching, fake Christian denomination. And your remaining in the denomination is an endorsement of the ELCA to all your members.

Not a few ELCA clerics are wearing garments that "make you feel 100%, like the best version of yourself." Even if they're not actual garments that deny their Creator's handiwork, they are inner robes of prideful self-righteousness that testify to their wearers' rebellion against God and contempt for His Word. The Bible unequivocally tells the wearers that their "best version of yourself" rags of unrighteousness will not be suitable attire for God's Kingdom.

This is outrageous and it is child abuse. Where are the more moderate ELCA churches standing up against this? Why are these churches not leaving the ELCA in droves? I know pastors read this site, you need to search your heart and have the courage to either join another denomination or go on your own. Silence means acceptance.

Two paragraphs: the first biblically warns every ELCA cleric and layperson who thinks personally playing with fire or entreating others to play with fire is of no consequence to God, and the second succinctly chronicles the ELCA’s descent into servitude to the world and calumny against confessing Christians.

The ELCA is rotten at the top and it is seeping down into the congregations. I was in an ELCA church for 25 years and when the pandemic hit the church closed down. I took that opportunity to look around and I found a NALC church not too far away. They did not close down for the pandemic. I have been going there for 6 weeks now and it feels like a weight has been lifted from me. I wish I had left sooner.

The good news is this story was one of the top links on the top conservative site Citizen Free Press. So this should bring a lot more visibility to this insanity and hasten the demise of the ELCA.

The ELCA's ardent pursuit of apostasy also made the very visible NotTheBee.com site. Lots of readers, lots of comments.

I think there is a more subtle and actually more sinister message here. The message being delivered to these children, who aren't engrained with gender norms, is that we should have the nicest, most eye-catching clothes to appeal to God. I'd rather see a message delivered in shabby clothes, and the point being made about that.

Aaron Musser said in his children's sermon, "I figured I would instead put on a dress as so many who have inspired me have done. I decided to follow their example, showing that LIBERATION FROM OPPRESSIVE LAWS CLEARS A PATH FOR JOY."
