It is not always easy doing what is right and standing up for Christ and God’s Word. I have been called names you wouldn’t expect “Christians” to call another person. I have been accused of being hateful. I have been threatened by an ELCA seminary professor saying he would make sure I never received a Masters of Divinity degree. Just this week, I was banned from the American Lutheran Publicity Bureau forum (ALPB) after merely posting two links which provide information regarding the actions of the ELCA concerning the abortion issue (on a posted thread entitled "Abortion and the Church.")
The Bible tells us “(t)hat is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” - 2 Corinthians 12:10 So for Christ’s sake I gladly take the scorn and anger. ELCA supporters can say whatever they would like about this ministry and my work. People are at risk of eternity in hell because of the false teachings of the ELCA. God has called me to this ministry, to shine light on what ELCA leadership believes. That is what I will do. In the words of Horatio G. Spafford, “It is well with my soul.” ------ Thank you to those who have helped support Exposing the ELCA with your financial gifts and encouragement. It is a great blessing to me and my family. Find out how you can support Exposing the ELCA here

Hang in there. You should write an expanded piece on the retaliation against you by those progressive, forward thinking religious liberals and submit it for publication to a broader audience. Try Christian Post. Or Mike Adams, the Townhall columnist.

Matthew 5:11-12, Jesus said, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." We are all truly blessed with your vigilance for the Lord. Where would so many churches be without the resources you post for them to use in their discernment with their relationship with a church that has abandoned their God? Keep on fighting the good fight, your reward will far outweigh the evil that the ELCA uses to try to silence His truth!

"People are at risk of eternity in hell because of the false teachings of the ELCA." This was the very thought that grieved me deeply as I sat in a "Bible study" session at Holden Village on the same day you made reference to the place in your recent post (August 1). The week's featured teacher, Ron Rude, lecturing on his book "Abel Emerging: a reconsideration of the Christian story for a sustainable world," spoke such incredible heresey and the people so enthusiastically agreed, that I found myself hoping the Lord would allow a forest fire to burn this historic place to the ground and wipe it from the face of the earth rather than the apostasy continually promoted by this ELCA retreat center send one more person to hell. The amazing beauty of the mountains and God's creation will endure regardless of the camp. So then why were we there? My father was one of the 40 original college students (he was from Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis), called the "Forerunners," who had come to clean up this abandoned mining camp in 1961 and prepare it as a place set apart for worship and Biblical learning. They were having a 50-year reunion gathering. Holden was a special place for my father - he took my mother there on their honeymoon and us kids there twice in our teens. My parents recognized the donctrinal compromise developing in the ELCA church and left it in 1989, much to the derision of our relatives. Though I am a member of an Alliance church, I still consider myself Lutheran (having studied at the AFLC Bible school) but I quickly qualify it as Lutheran, but NOT ELCA.
