ELCA’s 'Living Lutheran' magazine highlights camp for youth to embrace homosexuality and transgenderism but won't allow conservative view

The below article is tragic. Instead of helping young people with same-sex attraction and gender confusion see the light, they are helping them get comfortable in the darkness.

If you or someone you know has same-sex attraction, go to restoredhopenetwork.org and you will see a list of ministries around the country that help people with same-sex attraction deal with it in a Biblical way. But you won’t see any of these groups highlighted by the ELCA, because Living Lutheran bans this view in its magazine. I should know, I am part of a such a group called “One by One” which inquired about buying advertising space and were not allowed because, we were told, our view is not congruent with more recent decisions of the ELCA. This in spite of the fact that the 2009 ELCA decision on homosexuality assured conservatives that their viewpoint would also be allowed in the denomination. But it is not allowed in the ELCA’s national magazine.

Jesus has words of reproof and correction for an ELCA that feigns an acquaintance with Him.

“. . . Second, Jesus made a clear statement setting the objective boundaries for gender and the family. He told the sin-excusing religious rulers of His day: “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning created them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?” (Matthew 19:4-5).

Jesus is quoting Genesis. But He is also talking about His own actions. As the incarnate God-man, Jesus was present in the Garden of Eden. He was involved in the very creation of the genders He is commenting on.

So it seems Jesus was opposed to the LGBTQ framework.

His words would have gotten Him fired today if he had uttered them as the employee of many corporations. He would not be welcome on the Olympic Team unless he kept His mouth shut. He would be instantly disqualified to run for the Democrat presidential nomination. His words would make many GOP consultants nervous and seeking “someone more marketable.” He would be artfully kept away from many church pulpits, sadly including a good number labeled “evangelical.”

But that’s not all Jesus had to say on the topic. . . .”

The horse has left the barn years ago to different points of view with the ELCA leadership & Living Lutheran. The "All are Welcome" signs are great as long as you agree to only accept OUR position on issues!

The ELCA in 2009: “[2009 Convention] Resolution #3 states “that in the implementation of these [homosexuality-blessing] resolutions, the ELCA commits itself to bear one another’s burdens, love the neighbor, and respect the bound consciences of all.”

The ELCA now: "What is revealed is God’s anger from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who in their wickedness keep suppressing the truth." [Romans 1:18]

This fake denomination is nothing more than a bunch of leftist operatives bent on indoctrination, just like the media, academia, public schools and many other outlets. Do not send your children to these camps or be counseled by their staff. They can mess up a child for a lifetime.

The Babylon Bee knows the ELCA very well.
