ELCA Pastors Promoting the Abolition and Defunding of Police

Some of our more extreme members of society are calling to abolish and defund police in the United States. Not surprisingly, ELCA pastors have been joined in, voicing this radical and dangerous idea. Below is a sampling.

ELCA pastor, Elle Dowd, posts continually on this topic. Last week she shared an article that is seeking to "Defund Police," "Remove Police from Schools," and "Free People from Jails and Prisons."

Here Rev. Elle Dowd is posting information about abolishing the police.

Chapter 3,771 in "Whatever the world currently loves, count on the Democrat Party-subsidiary ELCA to endorse it in 3...2...1"

Mark Mostert describes what a woke ELCA might well rhapsodize about:
"When violent and mass crime breaks out, send in the Proletariat Team for Community Enhancement and Harmony. Populate the teams with socialist and communist college professors, psychotherapists, and counselors to facilitate Engagement Sessions where violent thugs and murderers will have their 'life story' fawningly listened to. Then send in Liberation and Social Justice Panels to berate the victims for having the temerity to have interacted with the criminals in the first place."

As police are being booted from schools, students' flight may start rivaling members' flight from the ELCA:

"A separate USA Today/Ipsos poll of parents with at least one child in grades K-12 finds that 6 in 10 say they would be likely to pursue at-home learning options instead of sending back their children this fall. Nearly a third of parents, 30%, say they are 'very likely' to do that."

These people live in a liberal fantasyland. So they defund the police and crooks have a field day.

So someone breaks into their church and 911 line has been disconnected. So they call the local social worker to report robbery in progress. The social worker rushes to the scene to ask the robber about their feeeeelings and how they may have been offended as they clean out the collection plates and walk away with bags of cash. Sounds like a plan to me!

If their progressive dreams come true, the ELCAnites will face shortages of tofu, arugula, and essential oils. A poll of 1,200 truckers asking this question -- "Would you pick up or deliver to cities with defunded or disbanded police?" -- found 79% saying no and 21% saying yes.

Comments by truckers questioned in that poll: "I have already informed my dispatcher that I will refuse all loads to cities that have defunded their police departments." "...if something was to happen and you have to take matters into your own hands, then you risk being prosecuted for defending yourself."

Back in 2018 the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that trucking is the deadliest job in America. The top four: 1. trucking 2. construction 3. farmers/ranchers 4. maintenance work

If it weren't bad enough that ELCAnites already have taken up permanent residence in Apostasyland, they also persist in occupying Fantasyland.

None of this is a surprise, I have yet to see any position taken by the far left, no matter how extreme or frankly stupid, that ELCA leaders haven't embraced.

If these liberal ELCA people truly cared about humanity, they should be thanking President Trump. Prior to covid, Trump’s policies were responsible for the LOWEST unemployment rates for blacks and Hispanics EVER. Things were getting better for these people are things are turning around now as covid starts to fade.

They should be mad at Democrats who have kept blacks dependent for 50 years! Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” programs have done more to destroy black families and raise illegitimacy than anything else. Billions, if not trillions, have been poured into inner cities and destruction and crime is the result.

If you liberals really cared about people, you would get behind Trump. But we know your game, it is all about keeping people dependent and voting for you to keep the checks coming in. It’s about power. It’s not about helping people at all.
