ELCA Pastor Films Himself Giving the Middle Finger and Posts His Disdain For America

Jason Chesnut is a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). You may know him from being a co-creator of some vile "devotionals" that have been popular in many ELCA circles. (see here)

If you check out his social media pages you will see a lot of ugly, hateful posts. But there are three in particular I'd like to show you. The first is a rather disturbing post on Facebook by Rev. Chesnut where he displays his foul mouth and disdain for the United States of America.

The second post is a tweeted video of ELCA pastor Jason Chesnut giving the middle figure (x2) to you. This is a pastor ordained by the ELCA who is paid by offering dollars, money intended for God and His Work.

This "pastor," like many of his fellow "pastors" in the ELCA, is right about one thing: he is in the Bible.

2 Timothy 3:13: "...while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived..."

He and his Bible-bowdlerizing, Gospel-counterfeiting, universalism-preaching, abortion-funding, sin-promoting, ersatz-Lutheran denomination are also mentioned in a number of Martin Luther's writings:

The ELCA needs to drop the name Lutheran, and immediately. If there is any way I can help this happen, let me know. This is disgraceful.

Thank you for posting this Dan. This man is self promoting himself like one of the money changers Jesus threw out of the temple. Besides being an ELCA pastor he has a film company he runs so this is all about him and not about God and sharing the message of Jesus dying for our sins with others. Why are people who are promoting themselves instead of God, being allowed to become pastors. It is very clear God did not call him to serve Him as a pastor. Why isn't the ELCA weeding out these "it's all about me types" as unsuitable for the ministry. Do they not have any standards letting foul mouthed wolves lead the sheep?
