3,265,581 baptized members. This is down 97,700 from 2018.

8,972 congregations – a loss of 119 from 2018

When the head bishop and many others in the ELCA church leadership are obsessed with the LGBT... agenda, what else is there to promote except a dead end product. There are many other organizations that do much more helping others than paying the salaries of these false prophets. Why keep giving money to the ELCA just like not buying a product that keeps breaking down and is a lemon!.

Jesus promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against the Church He is building. Even the gates and fences of hell that counterfeit churches like the ELCA, UCC, Episcopalians, and PCUSA have erected in vain attempts to imprison Jesus' lambs within their fading denominations.

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial?. . .Therefore go out from their midst and be separate from them, says the Lord..." [2 Cor. 6: 14,15,17]

"A Completely Different Religion

"Progressive Christianity is represented mostly in mainline Protestant denominations. Nearly all of these are in membership freefall. And it’s become almost impossible to parody. That’s at least partly because, as theologian J. Gresham Machen said of liberals in his day, the faith they’re teaching is not Christianity at all. It’s a completely different religion. It’s a social reform agenda fueled by feelings, informed by secular thought, while barely draped with religious language.

"In his book, Christianity and Liberalism, Machen contrasted liberalism with real Christianity. Real Christianity began with an announcement — a revelation about the supernatural life, death, and resurrection of Christ, and the implications of this good news for our lives. The faith once delivered to the saints makes demands on us. It has the power and the right to change us and our world. It challenges our deeply help beliefs. This faith rewrites our deepest concepts of who we are and what’s true. It demands our lives change, be remade after the life of our Savior, and redefined by the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.

"If your god — however you define him, her, it, or they — never demands change, then your god is you. This is what progressive Christianity has largely become. And it’s why it’s dying. If God’s desires are indistinguishable from our own and His commands identical with the progressive social agenda — to the extent that you don’t even have to believe in Him to pastor a church — then we might as well all stay home on Sundays and listen to NPR.

"Thank God, though, Christianity is worth believing. Thank God it is true. It does make demands on our lives, and it offers a salvation better than any that our culture mistakenly will ever call 'progress.'”

And these numbers do not count those who walked away unofficially. I am proud to say I am one who got my name off their membership list. No real preaching against sin. Just love your neighbor. Third grade stuff. Hurts my heart that people who truly know Jesus as Savior are connected with this blasphemous leadership.
