You should not be surprised to see lots rainbow colored gay pride messages in June, which many have branded "Gay Pride Month," but sadly, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is one of its biggest promoters.
Everywhere you look you will find ELCA pastors, ELCA seminaries, ELCA schools, ELCA synods, ELCA headquarters, ELCA publications, ELCA social media and ELCA churches proudly proclaiming their gay pride. It seems to be there main mission as a church to declare what God calls sin, to be "good." Below are just a few of the many ELCA entities celebrating and encouraging sin. The ELCA's magazine Living Lutheran posted the following and have an article discussing LGBT+ books and resources, many of them for or about youth. (see article here). Then they posted this. . . From the Metropolitan Chicago Synod of the ELCA:

The Bible couldn’t be any more clear about this. The Bible is also very clear about stealing. So if there was a National Robber’s Month, would they celebrate that?? If you stand on the Word of God, you are called a hater. So be it. We love these people and pray for them but we don’t affirm their behavior because it is counter to God’s Word.

The ELCA vociferously criticizes Israel as it supports BDS and an independent Palestinian state. Has anyone ever asked Bishop Eaton and ELCA pastors and bishops why they never criticize the absence of Pride Month and Pride parades in Hamas-controlled Palestine?

We are certainly glad we quit contributing to the ELCA synod the more we read about the activities they promote. There are many more beneficial groups and organizations that are helping people than the dying ELCA which is rapidly sinking into the swamp.

The Apostle Paul knew pretenders like those who abound in the ELCA: "There is no fear of God before their eyes." [Romans 13:8]

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
