ELCA Bishop Explains What the ELCA is About

Kristen Kuempel is the Bishop of the Northwest Intermountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In a Twitter exposition Bishop Kuempel explains what the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is about, saying, "There is a church in America working to address poverty, racism, systemic racism, reproductive health, full-inclusion of LGBTQIA+, hunger, & more."

In subsequent tweets Bishop Kuempel uses the F word and mentions Franklin Graham saying "I rebuke him."

It is truly scary to see what kind of people the ELCA is elevating into highest echelon of leadership. (read more about ELCA Bishop Kristen Kuempel here)

Franklin and Billy Graham have done more to advance the human condition and save people for Jesus Christ than this foul-mouthed incompetent could do in 1,000 lifetimes. Her language selection tells us a lot about what is in her heart. Also, as much as she would try to deny it, the Bible is full of absolutes and if you are a Christian, you adhere to those absolutes. It's not all about how you "feeeeel," that is for New Agers or whatever.

The world-pleasing ELCA frauds would rather see us killed by sin than embarrassed by conviction.

On Easter Sunday, no less, Martin Luther thought it critical that his flock not fail to grasp the link between Law and Gospel, of repentance’s inextricable link to saving faith:

“. . .Nor may we in our works and in our daily life tolerate the yielding to the wantonness of the flesh and at the same boast the Gospel of Christ, as did the Corinthians, who stirred up among themselves divisions and disorder, even to the extent of one marrying his stepmother. In such matters as these, Paul says, a little leaven leavens and ruins the whole lump - the entire Christian life. These two things are not consistent with each other: to hold to the Christian faith and to live after the wantonness of the flesh, in sins and vices condemned by the conscience. Paul elsewhere warns (I Cor 6, 9-10): ”Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” Again (Gal 5, 19-21): ”The works of the flesh are manifest . . . of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

"Warrant is given here likewise for censuring and restraining the rash individuals who assert that men should not be terrified by the Law, nor surrendered to Satan. No! it is our duty to teach men to purge out the old leaven; we must tell them they are not Christians, but devoid of the faith, when they yield to the wantonness of the flesh and willfully persevere in sin against the warning of conscience. Looks like the foul mouthed "bishop" is back at it again. You would certainly think since the ELCA is so "white" Kuempel would do her part and resign the position so it could go to a person of another "color" and quit wasting congregations offerings on her. salary. Since Bishop Eaton is not sure there is a hell, it may not be that empty with the "attitudes and actions" of some of the wonderful ELCA church leadership in the future!

How do these people live with themselves. I took membership in an elca church after my husband died and it meant nothing to me that it was elca. They were people who welcomed and embraced me.
Later on, I found this website and then had a make a huge decision. I was holding positions in that church. So it wasn't quite as simple as walking away, but the need to resign my positions. Finally, my conscience simply could not deal with the lies and deceit and foul language of so many higher ups. Very little remains biblical truth in the so called leaders.
The relief I feel from my resignation is visible in my face! I urge anyone on the edge of getting your name off the membership list to just do it! You will feel much freedom.
