It appears that I have been blocked from the ELCA Facebook page. I guess my "bound conscience" has no place there... something I ascertained 13 years ago.

The irony of the "Politics DO NOT Dictate Faith" page is too delicious.

Whatever buzzwords and shibboleths secularists are currently using to try to muzzle biblical Christians and to marginalize and erase biblical Christianity from the public square, count on fake churches like the ELCA to be reverentially parroting every term in the secularists' lexicon.

Columnist John Zmirak pulls no punches in his broadsides against the Visigoths.

There is little doubt in my mind that "Christian Nationalism" ,as defined by these ersatz Lutherans, involves protecting national borders and therefore national, state and local identities from those who have no regard for other people and their hard-earned property , protecting businesspeople from shoplifters who have similar lack of scruples, and protecting unborn children from people who wish to copulate without taking responsibility for the results.
The ELCA has completely reversed its moral compass from even what it was at its inception, and now struggles to understand why it has lost 40 percent of its membership during its existence, a decline that has accelerated in recent years.
It has drifted so far away from Confessional Lutheranism that it no longer even knows how to return, nor does it even want to.

And now Its days of being the largest Lutheran (so called in its case) church body n America are numbered. The LCMS, for all its flaws of its own, will surpass the ELCA sooner than the latter's leadership may think.

Somehow, some way, i received a survey from the leftist ELCA! Lol. Not sure how i got that, but it serves as a warning to those churches that are still members of the ELCA but try to follow Christ and hide from the woke, leftist, Marxist garbage spewed by this denomination. I didn't complete the survey because it was ridiculously long but there were many questions about how "well" your church followed LGBTQ ways and celebrated this. Also asked about how much "your" church celebrated transgenderism. I stopped filling out the survey after i had had enough of the garbage. But this serves as a warning to the churches that don't celebrate this wokeism that if you are still a member of the ELCA and they find you aren't doing these things, they are coming after you. Get out now, renounce your membership and leave the ELCA!

I spoke to my fellow church council members about this issue during our June meeting. People were not happy with me. They accused me of lecturing them and causing problems in the church.

The sad part is my church is rather conservative. They hate what the ELCA does, but they feel that they have no power to stop them. I am trying to show them that they have the power to stop it within our four walls.

Liberalism isn't the problem. It is apathy. It is a church at room temperature.
