The Assistant to the Bishop of the Southwest California Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America appears to be pretty radical. She is a partnered lesbian and used to work for Extraordinary Ministries, the LGBT group fighting for the their cause in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (they won). She has posted the below that she says "were posted throughout my neighborhood. Very important points." The first one says to "ask yourself if anyone is being hurt or endangered by property "theft" or damage." "Theft" is in parentheses. So much for "Thou shalt not steal." In Jesus our Savior, Pastor Tom Brock

Wow, what a whack job. Unbelievable. Before calling the “big bad” police for a crime in progress, try these idiotic steps. The first one, you can see their communism coming through. They are saying “so called” private property because in communism it belongs to “everyone” so that is why they are implying it is not a “theft.”

"Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need." [Eph. 4:28]

I certainly hope this lady has the same thoughts when her home or any church gets robbed or damaged. Please help the lawbreakers find anything they might have missed or overlooked so it makes it well worthwhile for their effort. .

A clear sign that their ethics come from Les Miserables, not from Scripture. It is a recipe for disaster. If someone posted such a sign in my neighborhood, I would post 10 neighborhood watch signs around it, and reboot our neighborhood watch system -- which we've actually done recently.

I have met many Lutherans over the years. I have found many of you to be very committed, proud of your Lutheran heritage as well as your ethnic heritage whether that be German, Norwegian, Danish or whatever Scandinavian country your family came from. I also had a similar sense of pride in the non-Lutheran denomination i came from. We were very proud of our heritage. But our denomination was corrupt and i left it.

Oh sure, I will make sure to ask the burglar what their intentions are before I call the police...give me a break! And I suppose if the burglar is black I should just let them steal as “reparations”? One alternative to calling the police though is the 2nd amendment.
