Watch the video below to see where offering dollars go in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The video claims that ELCA advocacy does not push a political agenda, while pushing the LGBTQAI+ agenda to the hilt.

You may go to ELCA.org and view their press releases of liberal causes. As I said in an earlier post, the ELCA does not lean to the left, it falls over to the left. But, they say, they don't have a political agenda.

Just about everything the ELCA does these days fits under Jesus' condemnation of the "church" in His days of earthly ministry: "Because of your traditions you have destroyed the authority of God's word. And you do many other things like that."

When the ELCA inevitably acquiesces to the world's commands to recognize and unstintingly endorse its latest godless dogma -- homosexuality, same-sex "marriage," transgenderism and "gender fluidity," universalism, abortion on demand -- it continues to prove it's not even remotely Lutheran nor Christian.

Martin Luther was characteristically blunt in condemning false teachers and hirelings:

". . .They [pastors, bishops] feed the sheep not, but are wolves that devour the sheep. They are the 'clouds' floating above in the air, they sit high in the church, as those who should preach, and yet they do not preach, but permit Satan to carry them hither and thither. So also he [Jude] says they are 'autumn trees without fruit, twice dead.' They have neither fruit nor leaves; they stand there alone bare like other trees; they make the claim and show as if they were Christian bishops, while neither the word nor the work of Christian bishops is there, but all is dead at the root. Further they are like the 'wild waves of the sea,' that is, like the wind tosses and plays with the waves and billows upon the water, so they go just as the devil leads.... They are 'wandering stars,' planets as they are called, that go backward and not in a steady, straight course. So these bishops have no regular course; their lives and teachings are mere error, in which they are misled and they mislead all who follow them. Therefore 'the blackness of darkness has been reserved for them forever.' "

The ELCA leaders are lying, as all liberals do. They have a very leftist, Marxist, Democrat agenda. I have seen it first hand as I have been dragged to this denomination's services to keep the peace in my household. I can't take it anymore, honestly. Very hard to keep my mouth shut about this heretical denomination.

Two quick stories, one about their smugness. I remember sitting in one of their 'educational' sessions where they spoke condescendingly of Baptist 'simpletons' who believe the Bible word-for-word. They talked about how Lutherans were far more astute and intelligent and could interpret the Bible in many ways. Hmmm. It shows. Being the outsider (they thought I was one of them), I raised my hand to inquire about inviting a Baptist pastor so we can hear their POV first hand, rather than this conjecture. It was quickly dismissed and I, the outsider, was given dirty looks.

My next point is a revelation I had recently. I am an outsider as my in-laws are overwhelmingly ELCA Lutheran and really eat this stuff up. They are overtly liberal and this ELCA leftwing speak is very apparent as they trash our President and conservatism (nevermind that he and conservatism brought us the lowest unemployment rates in history for ALL races and energy independence!!)

They are aligned to this highly atheistic, Marxist Democrat party. I kept asking God why. The revelation I had a few months ago was that the true Born Again believers are like the apostles of Christ. Liberal mainline church people (like the ELCA) are the Pharisees, the 'religious' people that persecuted Christ. The atheistic, Marxist Democrats are the Romans of the time.

So when I speak the truth of Jesus Christ and conservatism to these liberal ELCA people, they are very quick to support the Democrats and their own distorted view of Christianity and proceed to turn on me and my beliefs viciously.

Just like the Pharisees and Romans were aligned in their conviction and torture of our Savior, the Liberal Christians and largely atheistic Democrats of today are aligned against the true believers of Jesus Christ.

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.

As long as you have to reside for a season in Babylon, keep on doing exactly what you're doing: exposing the Bible-trampling apostasies and heresies of the proudly pagan ELCA. Some will hear...and heed...and flee.
