Great news to hear their new congregation and membership is growing. Big support to those who've been bullied by the ELCA.

What has become of the foundation fund that the ELCA wanted to get its hands on?

IANAL, but, according to Grace Lutheran's Constitution and Bylaws, all voting members of Grace Lutheran are members of the Grace Foundation. Those who remain at Grace Lutheran control the Grace Foundation.

On behalf of Prince of Peace Church and Preschool NALC, I extend KUDOS to you all for your courage in the face of persecution and pressure to conform to a dying denomination's wishes. Leaving the elca was a difficult path we began three years ago and completed with our acceptance into the NALC in February, 2011. We are not looking back and God has blessed us ever since. May you continue to sense that same peace and joy!

It's no wonder the ELCA has been fighting to hold onto every financial asset it can clutch.
