Drag Show Coming to South Carolina ELCA Church

Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville, South Carolina is hosting a drag show. (see below) Trinity Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The church has over 1200 baptized members.

Churches that look exactly like the world have nothing to offer the world, and the world is speedily getting smart enough to realize there's no reason to shell out money to prop up churchy impostors.

Jesus has promised that He will build His Church and that the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Even the gates of hell the ELCA has set up within its "churches."

IMO there is a huge difference between welcoming all to join the church family and ENCOURAGING this type of behavior to be indoctrinated to our youth. To me the ELCA now means the Evil Lutheran Church of America.

There is no such thing as an evil church, as such. (There is such a thing as Christians who are "simul justus et peccator.)

It's not the Evil Lutheran Church of America; it's the Evil Lunatic Cult of America.

Love the Evil Lutheran church of America. I have friends and family still in their elca churches. Granted their pastors aren't doing this evil, BUT their lack of resistance is telling....the church I was attending never preached against what elca promotes.

You are right. The ELCA church we attended for years did not talk about the strange things many of the bishops & seminaries have been promoting for some time. When we would make comments about issues the ELCA is promoting, our fellow members would say where are you hearing about that. That can't be true or must be fake news. Others will say I don't want to hear anything BAD about MY church or that won't affect us.

When policies are made in Washington DC or our State Capital that certainly won't affect us in our community will it??

One positive thing happened is when the 2022 ELCA youth convention was cancelled for Mpls. No sense wasting any $$ & listening to those extremely liberal speakers promote their twisted agendas.

We have been going to a different Lutheran organization & now do not have to listen to the same old worship liturgy over & over again each Sunday morning. Much more sincere than the tired
prayers about mother earth, saving the planet, etc.
