Pam Rocker is the LGBTQ+ Theologian in Residence for the Sierra Pacific Synod of the ELCA. In a Facebook post she writes:

"I support any kid in expressing who they are through whatever affirms them, whether it's through clothes, medication, or surgery. I believe that withholding these supports from them is cruel and criminal." (See below)

Then in a retweet of a Facebook post Pam Rocker confirms her support of a statement that says "This is indeed part of my queer agenda: To expose children as early as possible to all the possibilities of their beautiful becoming. To leave no doubt that whichever way their love blossoms and their gender blossoms and their body unfurls, they will be protected, cherished, celebrated, loved." (also see below)

While the ELCA proudly trumpets every new nadir of moral degradation, know for a certainty, ELCA member, that there are confessional, Biblical Lutheran denominations in which you may find refuge from the demonic doctrines and pagan practices that pervade the world and denominations like the ELCA.

Don't stay where God's Word is regularly, systematically dishonored: "...what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?. . .Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”

On the subject of Biblical Lutheran refuges, Matthew Harrison, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod President, issues this call to churches and the culture:

"Much of what we see today in society results from philosophies and teachings that, like those of Descartes, elevate humanity and thereby eliminate God and His Law. Man has become his own god. Without God’s Word, humanity finds morality in temporary constructs that may be adjusted to current circumstances. If there is no God, human life has no necessary, inherent or eternal value. A billion human lives have been sacrificed by abortion, a human “right” promoted by policies and governments. Some have killed babies as part of an international effort to “save the planet” from overpopulation, while animal suffering, death and extinction is opposed as great evil. Without God, humans decide the value, or lack thereof, of life. When mankind is not viewed as made in the image of God, human life has no more value than that of an animal.

Descartes’ idea, “I think, therefore I am,” shifts the basis for man’s identity away from God’s action to his own mind’s ability to conceptualize himself. Descartes’ teachings taught man to look inside himself — as man thinks he is, he is. It’s a short trip from “I think, therefore I am” to “I think I am male; therefore, my female body does not determine the reality of who I am.”

According to these ideas, the internal, hidden world of the mind trumps the visible, external world of the body (a self-destructive rejection of the Creator and the laws of science). Even small children, therefore, must be allowed to alter their bodily reality to align with their thoughts, and anyone who refuses to allow hormonal treatments or “sex change” surgeries stands in the way of the child’s “reality.” Absent any God-given sense of morality or a trust in the external visible reality of the created body, a child may be convinced that he or she is a she or he, or even an “it” or “they.” As the culture cheers, precious young lives are forever damaged.

The cause of sexual dysphoria is complex, but the result is irrationality. The NCAA’s promotion of men competing in women’s sports demonstrates the absurdity of it all. Rational female athletes say, “Unfair!” Disney bears Descartes’ ideology as well, with its ubiquitous messages of “Follow your heart” or “I dream, therefore I become.” All this runs smack into common sense. Ideology has run afoul of natural law.

Consider other fruit of this way of thinking. The marriage rate is at its lowest in U.S. history. Pornography allows the indulgence of lust and every form of perverse inclination of the human mind. Loneliness, suicide, sexual abuse (particularly by adult males living with non-biological children), adultery and children born out of wedlock are at record levels. The sexual revolution has left record numbers of women as single mothers, a scenario that is, statistically, the No. 1 determiner of poverty. Recent stats show that homes in which only the mother attends church, as opposed to those in which both parents attend church with the children, have a much smaller likelihood of the children becoming adult churchgoers.

The socio-economic, psychological and even spiritual devastation caused by the decline of the nuclear family is devastating. The church is a welcome home for all of us sinners and must always be a place of compassion for hurting people, but the compassion must be formed by the Word of God. . . ."

In fairness to Rene Descartes, the founder of analytic geometry, we should make it clear that when he said "cogito, ergo sum" (I think, therefore I am), he did NOT mean "I am whatever I think I am." That's a perversion of his philosophy.

Do you send your kids to these indoctrination classes/camps? Do you vote Democrat? If so, you can expect your kids and this society to be screwed up for generations to come. Speak out, get out and vote for sanity, overcome the massive vote fraud. Leave this insane denomination.

What's true of the dying PCUSA is true of the dying ELCA: "Relevant Christianity doesn’t stay relevant for long. Reinterpreted Christianity may appeal to the deconstructing, but it does not win the hearts and minds of the lost."

"First, the mainline church, despite its emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, has been spectacularly unsuccessful in appealing to minorities. The PCUSA has tried to do all the right “progressive” things on race for decades (like including the category “Latinx” in its report), and yet, the denomination is more than 88 percent white, only 1.61 percent Hispanic, and only 4.39 percent black (and that includes Africans). The gospel of diversity does not bring various peoples together nearly as well as the gospel of the cross.

"Second, theological liberalism is, by definition, supposed to be attuned to the times in which we live. As Gary Dorrien puts it in The Making of American Liberal Theology, “Since the eighteenth century, liberal Christian thinkers have argued that religion should be modern and progressive and that the meaning of Christianity should be interpreted from the standpoint of modern knowledge and experience.” In other words, if any ecclesiastical tradition should be relevant for people today, one would think it should be the mainline. Here, for example, are the headlines that The Presbyterian Outlook had (at the time of this writing) listed on its Current Affairs page before its article about the PCUSA statistical report: “The climate crisis is increasingly a refugee crisis,” “Finding diversity and equity in investing decisions,” and “We’ve got to move Earth Day to 12 months a year.” That’s one way to “reinterpret” Christianity for modern people. It’s just not a Christianity that’s going to compel new people to give up their Sunday mornings.

"And that’s the rub. Relevant Christianity doesn’t stay relevant for long. Reinterpreted Christianity may appeal to the deconstructing, but it does not win the hearts and minds of the lost. We have no guarantee that faithful churches will thrive. But after almost 60 years of constant mainline decline, we have a pretty good idea of how churches die."

Transgenderism is big business. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies profit from treating the imaginary illnesses of people who aren't actually sick. And as one might expect, the ELCA is on the side of the profiteers.

The trans agenda is never ending with the ELCA. When less than 1% identify as trans in the USA, the synod leaders are very content to push their agenda. If you are straight, believe there is a hell, everyone is not going to heaven unless you repent of your sins, then you are really not welcome in our pews anymore.
