'assault on the LGBTQIA+ community' claims ELCA Bishop

The ELCA's Greater Milwaukee Synod Bishop, Paul Erickson, wrote a letter a couple weeks ago "Affirming our LGBTQIA+ Siblings". (See the Facebook post at the end of the blog or here)

As Christians we need to love people. But the ELCA is making a detrimental mistake encouraging thoughts that go against what God has said. It is NOT an act of love encouraging people to believe their desire for sexual relations with someone of the same sex or their wanting to be anything other than their gender is "good" or is "God's will."

God did not make people homosexual. God did not make people one gender at birth and want them to live as the opposite gender. Encouraging people to live out their sinful desires is detrimental to spiritual and physical and mental health.

Satan has deceived so many and he has religious leaders encouraging destructive behavior.

Question for the ELCA: Do you (pastors, bishops, leaders) stand strongly with and lovingly support the rapidly growing numbers of ex-gay and ex-trans individuals? Or do you side with the LGBT zealots who are passing laws "in state after state and country after country making it illegal for people with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender-identity confusion to get professional help?"

I think we know the answer.

Michael Brown knows the answer, too.

"That is also one reason why there are such vigorous efforts to make it illegal for individuals to pursue change. (I dubbed one bill pushed in California two years ago the “Must Stay Gay Bill.”) If change is possible, then neither homosexuality nor transgenderism can be the new black.

"And that’s why, in today’s cancel culture, there is a group of lambs with giant targets on their backs. They have crossed a forbidden line. They have claimed that change is possible. That is why they must be silenced.

The Good News is that homosexuality is listed as a sin. That means one can repent and give up the sin. If it wasn't a sin, it would be a most unloving God to make people in a way they could not change. Our prayer should be that a desire to change comes to them.
Thank God for this bishop unafraid to speak Truth. God bless him and give him favor and influence.

There is a national uproar about this government trying sexualize kindergartners. Gov Ron DeSantis is at the forefront in fighting this perversion. This denomination is a perversion.
