Not only should we continue to use He/Him/His, but God’s pronouns should be always be capitalized. As far as I am aware, all KJV, NKJV, ESV, and even NIV editions capitalize all pronouns related to God, no matter what person of the Trinity we refer to. I have a German background, and we already capitalize almost all nouns anyway.

Of the four Bible versions you mentioned, only the New King James Version capitalizes pronouns referring to God.

If I remember correctly from high-school Spanish class, the Spanish language arbitrarily assigns a gender (masculine or feminine) to every inanimate object, be it a book, a chair, a table, or whatever.
