ELCA pastor Clint Schnekloth said this on social media:
Sometimes about all one can do is shake their head.

"Blessed be the God and [Parent] of our Lord Jesus Christ..."
That is what an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) seminary wrote when announcing the death of two people connected with the seminary. They replaced "Father" with "Parent."
Jesus called God "Father." Why is this ELCA seminary not content using the same name for God that the Lord Jesus Christ did?
Bishop Jim Hazelwood should know misappropriation when he sees it, being he is in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, who using this technique often to do things that go against God's Word. Don't miss the vile language used by this supposed minister of Christ.
ELCA New England Synod Bishop, Jim Hazelwood retweeted the below tweet. It seems to be saying that conservative evangelicals are racists. I wonder what he thinks about conservatives who are still members in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America?
BTW, the Jewish people have a variety of skin tones. God's Word does not tell us the color of Jesus' skin.
See the bishop's Twitter page here. Go to his retweet made Sept. 20, 2018.
Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA) posted this "Bizarro" comic. So many issues with this. 1) It puts a false deity, Buddha, on equal grounds with Christ. 2) Seems in the comic they are speaking about the Islamic rule that one is not allowed to make an image of their god Allah. Many have been killed for doing so. And here WELCA is posting a comic saying these religions should have it also. 3) And another tiring complaint aimed at white people, saying they make Jesus out to be white. Too bad WELCA and their ilk don't realize that Jews come in many different shades of brown. From very dark to very light, which people call "white." Jesus could have had any of these shades of skin color.
