ELCA Pastor Emily M. D. Scott shares:
"Bring yourself, brings a friend, bring your kiddos or teens for these fun and lively experiences that will open your hearts and refresh your souls." (See Here)

We present this to you so you understand what is happening in individual ELCA congregations. You should go to Elk River's LGBTQ+ webpage and see all they are doing and what they promote. (see here)
This is a ELCA congregation in Minnesota. Katy Miles-Wallace is the Mission Developer of Technicolor Ministries, a supplemental accompaniment ministry to the LGBTQIA+ community in the Southwestern Texas Synod.
Here we have another ELCA pastor, Zach Johnson, posting on social media his support of homosexuality, something that goes against what God has said. It is not loving to encourage sin. Encouraging people to turn from sin is loving. It is what Jesus did. Shame on ELCA pastors for encouraging people to be bound by sin.
(The following article, written this summer, is from Rev. Tom Brock of pastorsstudy.org. You can follow Pastor Brock on Facebook - here and Twitter - here.) Tap on this link: https://www.facebook.com/metronysynod/ and you will find at least 41 (I stopped counting) posts and videos from the Metropolitan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America promoting LGBT pride. Included in the posts is “Queer and Faithful and Bishop”, an interview with Kevin Strickland, a homosexual ELCA bishop with a “husband”. Also posted is “Queer and Faithful and Drag Queen storytime” for children. Back in 2009 when the ELCA voted to ordain practicing homosexuals, conservatives were assured their view would also be respected. No. Not one of the above 41 posts upholds the Bible’s teaching that homosexual behavior is sinful (see my article “What does the Bible teach about homosexuality?” at pastorsstudy.org). I spent years in the ELCA before leading my congregation into a more biblical branch of Lutheranism. But i never thought the ELCA would become this perverse and radical in my lifetime. Sincerely in Christ, Pastor Tom Brock View here.
Amy Current is the newly elected Bishop of the Southeastern Iowa Synod. She is an LGBTQ ally. On her social media she writes, "I believe love is love. I believe that God desires us to be fully ourselves. I have so much more to learn in order to be a better ally. Thank you for those who keep teaching me."
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is targeting youth by way of ELCA summer camps for kids. The ELCA's Living Lutheran reports,
"On Feb. 4, the ELCA announced the initiative Total Inclusion! Widening the Welcome at ELCA Outdoor Ministries. The program, made possible by Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies, is designed to equip and empower outdoor ministry organizations as they move toward more intentional welcome of people who historically have been marginalized in the church—especially people of color, people with disabilities and people who identify as LGBTQIA+." (see article here) The ELCA has been championing the gay, lesbian and transgender agenda for over a decade. Don't be fooled by the word "Welcome." The ELCA is making a strong push to celebrate and encourage these lifestyles among young people. They are sending a clear message. ELCA churches and members who believe God's Word have to ask why they remain in a denomination that is harming people and teaching in direct opposition to God's will. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin, and the ELCA is standing in opposition to the Holy Spirit. They are actively working against God, who wants us to turn from sin, to repent of our sinful ways.
Shelley Bryan Wee was elected Bishop of the Northwest Washington Synod, ELCA last summer. Rev. Wee is the former Assistant to the Bishop at Northwest Washington Synod, ELCA.
Shortly after the election ELCA Bishop elect, Shelley Bryan Wee did something many ELCA bishops do, she marched in a gay Pride parade. How can persons who believe God's Word that homosexuality is not God's will for people continue to support this denomination?
The following Tweet has ELCA bishop Shelley Brayan Wee telling a bisexual woman that "your sexuality...is beloved of God."
The new ELCA Bishop lists her "preferred pronouns" on her Twitter page - On "#BiVisibilityDay" Bishop Shelley Bryan Wee calls herself an ally and replies to a gay person's tweet saying that God "celebrates YOU in all your amazing personhood." -
Sharing some Big Bang mythology Bishop Bryan Wee writes "we are both creatures of the dirt and the heavens. For the dust that formed us came from eons ago across the galaxies when stars exploded and new life emerged.
So as a creature formed by God's hands from the dust of this earth (this earth that in turn was created from stardust)..." Dawn Bennett, a "queer and cisgender" pastor of the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has posted her Easter sermon. The point of the sermon is "Do not be afraid" to be your true, authentic gay, transgender self for this is "who God created you to be." She also reads from the Inclusive Bible and prays to "Holy Father, Holy Mother, Holy Parent", saying "Thank you for our queerness." The Bible teaches homosexual behavior is sin (for all the verses, see my article "What does the Bible say about homosexuality?" at pastorsstudy.org). Jesus taught that God made us "male and female" (Matthew 19:4). He did not add "or gay, or transgender, or bisexual, or omnisexual or queer". Sincerely in Christ, Pastor Tom Brock
Elle Dowd is a highly controversial pastoral intern, but she is not controversial in her denomination, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). In the ELCA she is perfectly normal and accepted. Elle Dowd has over 4000 followers on her "public figure" Facebook page and is an example of what ELCA seminaries are producing. The ELCA leader's Facebook "about" section says "Elle Dowd (she/her/hers) is a bi-furious seminarian at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and a candidate for ordained ministry in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America currently serving as the full time pastoral intern." (See here)
The following documents Elle Dowd's thoughts and agenda. This is only a small sample. You can also read more about the future ELCA pastor here. Look what ELCA leadership is trying to teach its members. The South Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America hosted a "Safe Zone Training" in February. The training is described as, "opportunities to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender and sexuality, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege." (See here) The Southwestern Washington Synod of the ELCA recently offered "Inclusive Church Training." This training was led by LGBT affirming group, Reconciling Works. See some of the ELCA synod's email regarding this below.
Seascape, is a publication of the city of Santa Monica. The Southwest California Synod of the ELCA shared an article from Seascape that highlighted ELCA Rev. Jim Boline and Vicar Drew Stever. See below.

ELCA Bishop James Hazelwood of the New England Synod recently hired a new Associate to the Bishop. Homosexual pastor Steve Wilco has accepted the bishop's invitation to fill this roll.
A statement from Bishop Hazelwood announced Rev. Wilco "lives in Chicopee, Mass., with his husband Michael and their delightfully spunky preschooler." (See here)
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America pastor Michael Coffey penned a "prayer" for churches to use when celebrating "Pride Sunday."
A part of Rev. Coffey's prayer says: "You revealed the fullness of your love in Jesus of Nazareth, who loved all persons in their human dignity, who forgave us for our failure to see your image in all genders, all sexualities, all colors, who suffered in solidarity with all the rejected, who inspires us now to celebrate love in all its wonderful forms, who fills us with pride and gratitude for being born this way, and for being made new in endless grace." See here.
Rev. Michael Coffey is the author of a book titled “Renounce, Resist, Rejoice: Being Church in the Age of Trump.”
Uber liberal pastors are the norm in the ELCA.
This is a look into some social media posts by ELCA Vicar Carla Christopher. Carla Christopher is the Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries at Union Lutheran Church in York, PA and is seeking a Masters of Divinity degree at the ELCA's United Lutheran Seminary - Gettysburg. Carla Christopher is also the York LGBT Center - Equality Fest, President. (see here)
Planned Parenthood participated in the event below that featured drag queens. Carla Christopher gets the approve to move forward for ordination. The ELCA seminary's creative liturgy class includes yoga body prayer. The ELCA trained future pastor posts that "All love is so very beautiful." Carla Christopher was Student Body Vice President at the ELCA's United Lutheran Seminary. Interfaith Service in a Mosque. Carla Christopher wrote a paper for her ELCA seminary class on "the gifts that come from being an LGBTQIA person."
Kristen Kuempel is the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) bishop of the Northwest Intermountain Synod, formally called the Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod. Bishop Kuempel is a the type of leader that is gaining in prominence in the ELCA and is comparable to ELCA pastors Nadia Bolz-Weber and Lura Groen. (read about them here and here) She is extremely liberal, swears freely, advocates for all the ELCA favorite social causes and will spout her politics.
Just a few months ago the ELCA bishop Tweeted a picture of a vibrator to her followers: Bishop Kuempel lists her preferred pronouns on her Twitter account along with her love of hard liquor. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America bishop's Twitter profile says "F*bombs welcome" and has a descriptive saying predominately displayed that says "Good sense of humor, dirty mind and beautiful heart. Deadly combination."
Below are some of many troubling Tweets by the ELCA bishop:
Last year the ELCA Youth Facebook page posted the following:
The ELCA page shared a pro-LGBTQIA+ guide for ELCA youth workers to use and help them minister to their youth. The guide comes from the LGBT+ organization ReconcilingWorks.
This summer Lutheran Church of the Nativity (ELCA) in North Conway, New Hampshire hosted Gay Men's Chorus. One of the lead sponsors of the event is Thrivent Financial.
Some of the money from the concert will be gifted to LGBT groups. The Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS) Celebrates 10 Years of Being LGBT Approving (RIC)9/1/2019
Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS) celebrated their 10th anniversary of becoming a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) seminary. The first ELCA seminary to do so.
Reconciling in Christ is a designation that means they have "made a public commitment to welcome, include and celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) people." (See here) Anyone wonder what Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary is teaching their students?
Below are a few Tweets from ELCA pastors or attendees of the ELCA 2019 Churchwide Assembly. In the Tweets you get a glimpse of their mindset and into what was happening at the assembly.
