ELCA Pastor's Ugly Rants, Including Calling '#MAGA People' 'Cultists' and Accusing Them of Bigotry

John Ericson is an ELCA pastor of Reformation Lutheran Church in Newport News, VA.

Below you will see some of Rev. John Ericson's Twitter posts. It is a ugly display of anger and name-calling. By my calculations, this  minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America averages about 10 Tweets a day and joined Twitter in September 2013.

As you can see here, the synod bishop recently preached at Rev. Ericson's church, as did the Assistant to the Bishop one month later.

Tell me all of you #MAGA people; if a Democrat got out of military service by getting a favor from a Dr. to say he had bone spurs. Wouldn't you be enraged? Why is it you will excuse @realDonaldTrump. Time to just admit it's because he shares your bigotry.
