Diana Edis is an ELCA pastor at Breath Of Life Lutheran Church in Blythewood, South Carolina. Here is a prayer she shared on her Facebook page from the LGBT rights religious organization, ReconcilingWorks. It asks the "Living Spirit" to "teach us to embrace all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions."

Below you will find quotes by two ELCA bishops in support of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries (ELM). ELM describes itself as a "professional community for publicly identified gender and sexual minority ministers and candidates" (See here ) The first quote is by Delaware-Maryland Synod Bishop William Gohl. (See here) Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries has an article that addresses this on its website. The article shares a quote from Bishop Kirby Unti of the Northwest Washington Synod that says, “The church has entered a time when what we need are effective adaptive leaders. Our LGBTQIA+ ministers tend to be some of our best adaptive leaders. Their lives have relied upon adaptive sensibilities in order to thrive.” (See here)
This is what the ELCA has become. A denomination where their pastors/leaders reject the clear teaching of God and in this case, are in favor of people sleeping together (having sex) before marriage. (See Hebrews 13:4 to learn what God has to say on this topic, for starters). Seems God's Word is just ignored now in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. ELCA members should ask themselves what their current ELCA pastor believes, and does not believe, when it comes to God's Word? Additionally, contemplate what future pastors in your church family, trained by the ELCA, will believe about God's Word and what they will be teaching the congregation. ELCA pastor Elizabeth Rawlings is an ELCA campus pastor at the University of Washington. She has a lot to say about almost every topic that the liberal left cares about. It kind of scares me. We will start this off with something Rev. Rawlings shared that seems to be saying there is no eternal hell. Here are some more disturbing posts by this ELCA pastor: Be sure to catch these quotes - "If you want to take this further, as you breathe, imagine there is a light shining somewhere outside of you. Feel the light shine on your body. Feel its warmth. That light is love/God/spirit/creatrix. Breathe it in. Fill your body with the light and love of that which made you." "If your cosmology allows for it, picture yourself surrounded by Jesus, ancestors, Angels, guiding spirits, a cloud of witnesses, (whatever works for the way you walk in the world) all holding you and keeping you safe." (See here also) Reproductive health care is important Rev. Rawlings and she seems (see below) to be supportive of Planned Parenthood. Rev. Rawlings shared this Facebook post by Linda Tirado.
Rev Kevin Strickland is the Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Rev. Richard H. Graham, the bishop of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod attended the Capital (Gay) Pride Parade this summer.
This ELCA post announces the homosexual service of marriage resources that the denomination developed.
This was posted on the Metropolitan New York Synod's (MNYS) Facebook page.
This is from the ELCA magazine Living Lutheran. This ELCA Pastor, Emmy Kegler, wrote the LGBT focused article and tweeted that the magazine is sent to all ELCA congregations and pastors. The ELCA places LGBT supportive articles in almost every issue. An insidious way to indoctrinate ELCA membership.
ELCA Advocacy celebrates the "Legacy of PRIDE in the ELCA" by highlighting an ELCA pastor who is "queerying faith through their blog..." and goes by the pro-noun "they."
Pushing their agenda with your offering dollars.
Any question where ELCA Advocacy stands on LGBTQ issues?
I assume the Presiding Bishop picked this gay ELCA pastor to be the assistant to the presiding bishop. He says, "speaking up for LGBTQIA persons and others who are discriminated is a living image of what God’s Work. . .Our hands is all about.”
Again, celebrating the Legacy of PRIDE in the ELCA.
Many of the ELCA's members agree with Scripture and do not "Celebrate" homosexuality, but that does not matter to the ELCA leadership, they continue to push the LGBT narrative.
This is what the ELCA Youth Gathering tweeted and I believe it is something Nadia Bolz-Weber told the 30,000+ teenagers who were listening:
ELCA pastor's wife and mom of a boy that they are raising as a girl is at the New Jersey Synod assembly with an LGBT advocacy organization.
The ELCA keeps turning out pastors who live in denial and unrepentant sin. Shame on the ELCA for not helping them. Shame on the ELCA for encouraging people with same-sex attraction to embrace what God has called them to refrain from doing.
ELCA pastor Brian R. Campbell seems to be considering this. I wonder how many other ELCA leaders would be receptive to implementing this rule.
ELCA synod shares op-ed from ELCA pastor who does not want to see a religious exemption in the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. One reason listed is because he believes "that God calls us not to defend our own rights and causes, but to defend those with less..."
