Would Luther be allowed to teach at Luther College?

Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, is affiliated with the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. On Luther College's official website we read:

"Luther College supports LGBTQIA students, advocacy and programming, Luther PRIDE, partnerships and collaborations in education...Our goal is to... (create) an open and affirming environment void of homophobia, heterosexism, cissexism, transphobia, and gender bias. Through educational, social, and supportive programming, along with conducting training sessions and consultation, the Office of LGBTQ Services serves the entire campus community."

Martin Luther believed the Bible's teaching that homosexual behavior is sin. One would doubt that--if alive today-- Luther would be allowed to teach at Luther College. To my knowledge there is not one ELCA college which has rejected LGBTQAI+ "theology" and which still affirms the Bible's teaching on this issue.

If you want your child to receive a Christian education, I would steer clear of ELCA-related colleges: Luther, Augsburg, St. Olaf, Gustavus Adolphus, Concordia Moorhead, Wartburg, and Augustana colleges.

All people are children of Almighty God. However I firmly refuse to support any organization that Panders to the Gay philosophy.

Martin Luther would be persona non grata at ELCA colleges and in ELCA clerical ranks. He was, and remains to this day, a living biblical refutation of the ELCA's heresies and apostasies.

To cite just a few of Luther's many biblical condemnations of ersatz-Christian pretenders like those who surfeit the ELCA:

** "The universities need a sound and thorough reformation . . . Loose living is practised there; little is taught of the Holy Scripture or the Christian faith...But I would not advise anyone to send his son to a place where the Holy Scriptures do not come first. Every institution, where the Word of God is not taught regularly, must fail. That is why we observe the kind of people who are now and will continue to be in the universities . . . I greatly fear that the universities are but wide-open gates leading to hell, as they are not diligent in training and impressing the Holy Scripture on the young students.”

** Martin Luther on 1 Peter 1:3 — “..we must preach about Jesus Christ, that he died and rose from the dead and why he died and was resurrected. We must preach so that the people will believe in him and through faith be saved. This is what it means to preach the true gospel. Any preaching that is different than this is not the gospel, no matter who preaches it.” (LW, 30:9)

** Martin Luther on 1 John 3:4 — “We are all sinners, and at times we all fall into sin. But when true Christians fall, they soon come back, turn around, and struggle against the sin so that they won’t offend their neighbor…even if Christians are completely surrounded by sin, they should still fight against it. Some people think they’re Christians because they’ve been baptized. These people give their desires free rein and don’t care about conquering their sins. They merely follow their own cravings.” (LW, 30:269)

** Luther on Gen. 19:24-5 — “Arrogant and stubborn people despise the Word of God and laugh at well-intentioned words of caution…We must guard against this false teaching. It’s not enough for these people to bring destruction on themselves. They intend to drag us down with them. Like the people of Sodom, they don’t realize that their sins will soon be punished.” (LW,3:239)

** "The keeper of a public brothel is less a sinner than the preacher who does not deliver the true Gospel, and the brothel is not so bad as the false preacher's Church."
