Look at the Queer Confirmation youth retreat below that the Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is hosting for fifth-graders, fifth-graders!
Don’t walk, run from the ELCA.

The ELCA has confused love with relativism - thus displaying its own compete moral bankruptcy. Marriage is either a moral construct with a moral definition --or, for all intents and purposes, it becomes a non-construct with no definition (just a random lifestyle option which anybody can interpret however they want to).

ELCA hirelings have no clue as to what, absent repentance, their weeping-and-teeth-gnashing eternities will be. Thus far, biblical warnings have fallen on willfully deaf ears.

In fact, now, at the start of so-called “Pride Month,” is a good time to say it aloud for everyone to read and hear: The modern idea of homosexuality is a myth born of ideology. It is, in other words, a “construct.” It is a humanistic way of seeing and organizing the world that one easily cabins and confines oneself into to understand and interpret the world.

Homosexuality is really just homosexualism. It is an ideology. It is not who you are. Why? Because regardless of the pattern of one’s sexual desires, if you are a man, your body is meant for a wife. If you are a woman, regardless of your sexual desires, it is intended for a husband.

A homosexual-identifying man and a homosexual-identifying woman are not homosexuals. They are homo sapiens whose desires are at odds with the telos of their bodies.

...We do not go looking to the experience of our desires to validate an identity. We go to Scripture. The fact of “naturally occurring” experiences or desires tells us nothing about the appropriateness of those occurrences or desires. “If it feels good, do it” is devastating as an ethic. It is unsustainable as an ethic if truly taken to heart. But that phrase might as well function as secularism’s John 3:16.
