Two unassailable, irrrefutable impediments to the ELCA's world-pleasing "trans" peddling: science and God's Word. Satan asked the first "Hath God said. . .?" question, followed by the first God-disputing lie. The ELCA has made that satanic question and its God-impugning answer the faithless foundation of its hell-spawned hermeneutic.

"Or do you show contempt for the riches of His kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed." [Romans 2:4-5]

But it’s equally apparent that the cult of transgenderism seeks not to celebrate that sacred image but to distort and blaspheme it.

By its very nature, transgenderism tells a confused person that his bodily creation was a mistake and the inventions of man are necessary to counteract the “deficiencies” of God. In defiance of the divine proclamation that “male and female He created them,” the alphabet sexual ideology that’s infected American institutions finds countless ways to reject the naturally created order of an orderly God. Rather than respect individuals as embodied vessels housing precious souls, transgender ideology encourages so-called doctors to hack and drug the bodies of even young children into physically deformed shells of their former selves.

As with everything on the left, follow the money. There’s a lot of money to be made preying on confused adolescents just trying to find their place in this world. Drug companies, health industry making bank on drugs & surgeries. It is sad.

But even Mammon (part of the ELCA's unholy trinity with Eros and Moloch) is losing ground to reality as the bloom keeps fading on the trans-insanity corpse flower.

We just passed another Detrans Awareness Day. And what a difference a year makes! Just last month a WPATH official “tweeted” that detransition rates could be as high as 30% and requested feedback on that before quickly and quietly taking down the post. The month before that, the famous executive orders were released:

* Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation
* Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling
* Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and
* Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government

It’s unfortunate that this restoration to sanity and the perseverance of women’s rights had to be accomplished via fiat, but the cultural tide is turning. And the surveys prove it. The series of charts below, from Gallup and the Pew Research Center and CNN, show an interesting story and a return to sanity.

While most Americans support the civil rights of trans-identified people, most do not support trans women (aka men) in women’s sports or public bathrooms, the transitioning of children or trans ideology in the schools. . . .

And few people buy into Rachel Dolezal’s claim to identify as a black woman, since she is clearly not. What about people who identify as animals, or able-bodied people who identify as disabled? Do all of these self-professed identities determine reality? If not, why not?
