Liberal head ELCA bishop emeritus speaks against “weeds of Christian Zionism and White Christian Nationalism”

Mark Hanson, bishop emeritus of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, recently came out with the below video speaking against “the weeds of Christian Zionism and White Christian Nationalism“.
It was during Hanson’s liberal leadership that the ELCA in 2009 voted to ordain practicing homosexual pastors, which caused a huge split in that denomination. The ELCA has lost 40 percent of its membership since its founding in 1988.

Hanson also has defended “children who are transitioning” (to the opposite sex). Hanson preached a sermon in which he claimed that Jesus was mean and hurtful in His language to the Syrophoenician woman. According to Hanson, Jesus used despicable language toward her, but then Jesus changed His mind and helped her.

Bishop: "If you were standing before Jesus, for whom would you plead for mercy?"

Me: I would plead for mercy for myself, because I am a sinner desperately in need of grace.

The ELCA's "Jesus" can't save anyone. The ELCA isn't interested in saving anyone from hell because it's too enamored of the Democrat Party's, the world's, and other apostate denominations' praises. Progressivism is a stench within the church and parachurch that denigrates biblical promises by filtering them through the world’s values. 1 - Progressivism Is Parasitic
Progressive ‘Christianity’ lives like a ravenous flea on the back of your most faithful family dog. It twists the biblical meaning of love and perverts biblical doctrine to serve political ends.

2 - Progressivism replaces the Biblical Triune God with “Jesus, my imaginary friend” and advances a diabolical separation between faith and redemption. . . .

3 - Progressivism is destructive. It destroys the peace and purity of the church. (See Jude 1:3, Ephesians 4:3.) [Jude 1:3: "For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ."] . . .
** The Universal Need To Repent
I’m grateful that the gospel Pastor Ken Smith shared with me 25 years ago did not include “LGBT+ equipping.” If I had been told that my lesbianism wasn’t a morally culpable sin, but only that acting on it sexually was no bueno, I wouldn’t be a Christian today. Why? Because my lesbianism did not need equipping. The world, flesh, and devil knew how to equip my sin perfectly. What sinners need is the grace to repent and turn and no longer “be” LGBT+ because homosexuality is found in the flesh, forbidden in the law of God, and overcome by the Savior. Repentance was what I needed.

And that need never ends. When Christians sin–and we do–we too must repent. Repentance is gospel grace. It gives glory to God, grows a sinner in sanctifying freedom, and models the only godly example for others. Repentance of sin is the only answer to progressivism’s rot. . . .

That so called Bishop is a wolf in sheep's clothing plain and simple. He's is nothing more than a blind guide leading his followers right to the gates of Hell. May God have mercy on his soul and may he repent before its too late...
