ELCA Lutheran Assembly: “The Bible says harmful things about women and girls”

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America just had the first day of its national assembly. A good amount of time was spent attacking “patriarchy and sexism” in the Church and an ELCA video claimed “the Bible says things about women and girls that we now regard as harmful” (minute 3:19:10). (see here)

So the Bible is harmful, but feminism is a good thing. The ELCA has fully endorsed feminism and even pays for abortion for any reason with offering dollars in the ELCA healthcare plan. The ELCA video laments that women are being denied “healthcare“ in our society,

When a denomination claims that the Bible is harmful, and then turns around to use offering dollars to kill unborn children, time to run from that denomination.

I feel such a burden for the people still staying in this denomination. Most, of course, have no idea what their top leaders are saying, doing, and believing.
I pray their consciences will be restless until they search out, and accept the reality of what their 'church' teaches. Many don't want to hear it because they will be forced to make some hard decisions. Yet, really? Is it hard??? if I am a true believer of the Scripture, how hard is it to know these leaders are deceived and deceiving.

Just when you think the ELCA can't plummet to a more God-dishonoring, world-kowtowing nadir, it submissively embraces yet another doctrine of demons.

iii. Most people think of following Jesus as conforming to the establishment. Actually, Jesus called us to rebel against the established order of this world. We are called to rebel against the tyranny of the flesh, against the fear and conformity of the world, against the traditions of man. Jesus encourages a slave rebellion, where the slaves of sin, Satan, and the world rebel against their masters.

I have been watching the ELCA assembly and it should be required viewing for all ELCA Lutherans. As a matter of fact it should be required viewing for all Christians as a warning of what happens when a denomination allows liberal white women to take over. Women with beards, effeminate men, Marxists, preferred pronouns, they're all front and center. Hive minds, nodding along with every weird speech and speaker. I feel like I'm watching an SNL skit. It's such a shame that the average congregation member has no idea where this apostate mess of a church stands. So happy my family left this evil denomination 3 years ago. The sooner the ECLA disappears from this earth, the better.
