ELCA head bishop "deeply troubled our transgender and non-binary siblings are being dehumanized"

States around the country are banning destructive sex change operations on children and are also banning hormone blockers which keep children from developing their God-given sexuality. But Elizabeth Eaton, head bishop of the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is troubled by "anti-trans" legislation. The ELCA pays for hormone blockers for minors in the ELCA healthcare plan which is funded by offering dollars. A few years ago the ELCA put an 11-year-old boy who thinks he is a girl on stage to preach transgenderism to 31,000 teens at the denomination's Teen Assembly. That child has been on hormone blockers for years, your ELCA offering dollars at work. The ELCA plan also pays for sex change operations.

Two unassailable, irrefutable impediments to the ELCA's world-pleasing "trans" peddling: science and God's Word. Satan asked the first "Hath God said. . .?" question, followed by the first God-disputing lie. The ELCA has made that satanic question and its God-impugning answer the foundation of its God-defying hermeneutic.

. . . every person walking this earth is a creation of God, made after the likeness of the Creator, who loves each soul and longs that they may return to His righteous and loving care. But it’s equally apparent that the cult of transgenderism seeks not to celebrate that sacred image but to distort and blaspheme it.

By its very nature, transgenderism tells a confused person that his bodily creation was a mistake and the inventions of man are necessary to counteract the “deficiencies” of God. In defiance of the divine proclamation that “male and female He created them,” the alphabet sexual ideology that’s infected American institutions finds countless ways to reject the naturally created order of an orderly God. Rather than respect individuals as embodied vessels housing precious souls, transgender ideology encourages so-called doctors to hack and drug the bodies of even young children into physically deformed shells of their former selves.
