In recent years, Christian bakers and florists have been taken to court for not servicing homosexual weddings. President Trump desires to end these attacks on religious liberty, but Midwest bishops in the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America believe this is “dangerous“ and a conflation of Christian fundamentalism with “Christian Nationalism”.
This reminds me of a few years ago when Elizabeth Eaton, head bishop of the ELCA, went to the White House to lobby for abortion rights. If you have any doubt that the ELCA is all about liberal politics, go to elca.org and hit “news“ and see political pronouncement after political pronouncement. This is your ELCA offering dollars at work. Time and energy that should go to spreading the gospel of Christ are going elsewhere. Nothing upsets the devil's accomplices like actual Christians being Christians who exercise their First Amendment freedoms and testify boldly and publicly to the Gospel. There are no rebels in ELCA “leadership,” only compliant conformists to the world, to doctrines of demons, and to the tyranny of the flesh.

Not surprised the non-Christian posers ELCA is against President Trump’s effort to protect Christians.
