(The following article was written by Rev. Tom Brock of pastorsstudy.org. You can follow Pastor Brock on Facebook - here and Twitter - here.) The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America now has seven practicing homosexual bishops. Below you will see a Pennsylvania homosexual bishop is flying off to help install another homosexual bishop in Massachusetts. And the gay bishop says this is going to make the ELCA “very fabulous”. The ELCA also had the world’s first transgender bishop, but “they” had to step down over alleged racism.
At my house tonight, we had a prayer meeting and we prayed for the ELCA. But I made the point that I see absolutely no sign that this denomination is turning around. Yes, God can do anything and He can turn this denomination around, but for decades it just keeps getting worse. I told the prayer group that my belief is that God will continue to let the ELCA go its own way and we will see biblical churches grow and evil churches shrink into oblivion. In Christ, Pastor Tom Brock

The Gay Bishop states that Installation will make the ELCA “ very fabulous”. I say he Misspelled the scond word of his remarks, the correct spelling for said should be “Apostate”. Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13. The saddest oart of his statements is that he is, owing to his position in the Synod, is that he knows full well these Chapters & Verses & knows better his Sinful Deeds, & beliefs. God knows his actions, & he, the Bishop, will have to face The Lords Justice for those said Actions one day, as we all will.

Maybe God's way of turning the ELCA around is just for people to keep on leaving it.

For those who remain in the ELCA, it is rather easy to worship God when things appear to be going "fabulous"! But what about when things don't seem so "fabulous"?

That's more than 10% of the bishops.

With the continued membership shrinking of the ELCA synod, less bishops should be be needed and administrative costs would be reduced. Until more budget cuts are required, the synod may not be ready to do what is really needed!
