If you send your children to an ELCA college or seminary, do you know what the professors are teaching them?  Before you send another check in support of these institutions you should find out what you are supporting.

It is also important to remember that our present and future pastors and leaders of our churches have studied and are studying at these institutions.  What they learn while they are there will be what they bring to their congregations, for the length of their ministries.

An august group! Many of these professors I know and respect. To answer your question, yes, I absolutely support these leaders of the church.

You strike me as short-sighted, bitter and unable to love. They say that the definition of a fundamentalist is someone who has lost the ability to listen. That's how I see you. I pray for you, Dan Skogen.

Dash, thanks for your comments and prayers. I really do mean that. You are also in my prayers. The purpose of my site is to inform people what the ELCA is about. If they want to support it, like yourself, great. But there are many others who do not know what the ELCA is up to and would not support it if they knew. Those people have a right to know the teachings, policy and beliefs of their denomination.

I'm sorry that is how you view me. I do ask that you read this article as it gives the Biblical, Godly and true response Christians should have to sin and those who are struggling with sin.

“Loving Our Homosexual Neighbor: What does love mean?” by Dr. David N. Glesne.

May God bless you richly.
